Summer Slam

Summer has come on like a hot wet blanket. There we were having a nice cool spring when all of a sudden it gets hot and humid and has not let up.

I ran and finished the Ice Age 50 Mile race last month. That was fun. It was cool and a bit of rain - perfect running weather. I came in around 9:35 which is about normal. I have to say that I was dragging the last 8 miles or so. My knee kind of went painful on me. It has gone away but it was kind of weird. Snce then, I have taken it easy. Ran 10.7 miles last Friday. The Picnic Point run and back along Lake Mendota, through the Highlands and back through Owen Park. - Superb! I think I may try the Dances With Dirt race in July up at Devels Lake. I need something to keep my motivation up.

Hello

This blog will capture my thoughts on solar power, politics, maple syrup, beer and any associated topics. The genesis of this are my emotions as a solar provider in the State of Wisconsin. Yes we have a solar industry in Wisconsin. There were a total of 216 residential installations in 2010. Big deal! I will attempt to self heal myself through ruminations on why something that seems to make such sense to me makes no sense to anyone else (sorry 216 Wisconsinites).
